I. Specification of CWG 2500 Surge Generator

  • The CWG 2500 IEC / EN 61000-4-5 surge generator is a test device that simulates high energy disturbances and is suitable for performing EMC tests on IEC / EN systems and systems. 61000-4-5, VDE 0843-5 and others.
  • This Surge CWG 2500 Schlöder transmitter is easy to operate using a capacitive color touchscreen. All parameters are clearly displayed on the screen without the need for nested menus and can be changed quickly by touch and using the digital rotary encoder.
  • Pre-programmed test levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, additional test sequences can be stored using the memory function.
  • The CWG 2500 mutant generator can also be controlled via a PC via the optional USB or fiber interface.
  • Pulse Shape Measurement: The transmitter has 3 different measuring circuits to accurately measure surge pulses - L vs N, L vs PE and N vs PE. Values ​​for current and voltage are displayed, for oscilloscope ratings, BNC outputs for current and voltage are available on the back panel.
  • Memory function: All parameters can be set easily and clearly. Using the memory button, up to 32 settings can be activated.
