• Configuration Gauge - The PCE-RT 2000-ICA Surface Tester is used to accurately measure surface roughness. This roughness meter can be used on all surfaces.
• The roughness measurement results are accurately recorded through the piezotast tip. Configurable measurements in the ranges Ra, Rq, Rsm, Rsk, Rz, Rt, Rp, Rv, Rc and is therefore a universal configuration in quality assurance.
• Surface roughness meter PCE RT 2000-ICA is placed on the surface for measurement. During the measurement, a probe is pulled over the surface and the configuration displays the measured value on the large OLED screen. In addition to the numerical display of the measured value, the measurement configuration can be displayed graphically.
• The PCE-RT 2000-ICA configuration meter is powered by a rechargeable battery. Surface tester's charger is included with delivery. Profilometer has an auto-off function to take care of the battery.
• Surface roughness meter PCE RT 2000-ICA with Micro USB cable. The measuring device can be charged via this connection. Furthermore, measurement data can be transferred from the configuration to the software. So it is possible to create a complete document of the measurement.

Standard notation:

• Rz = average roughness. The mean roughness depth Rz is the arithmetic mean of the maximum order depth of a number of adjacent individual gauge sections..
• Ra = arithmetic mean roughness. Ra is a commonly recognized and internationally applied roughness parameter. This is the arithmetic mean of the absolute values of the configuration deviation in the reference distance. The measured value Ra is always less than the value of Rz determined on the same roughness profile.
• Rt = maximum roughness. Maximum surface roughness Rt is the distance between the highest point and the lowest point of the measuring part.
• Rq = average roughness. Rq is the root mean square of all coordinate values in the individual measured distance l. Rq corresponds to specified RMS (Root Mean Square).
