  • The PCE-LDC 8 leak detector is used to locate leaks on compressed air lines. Furthermore, this Gas Leak Detector can also be used on refrigerant lines or gas lines to detect leaks.
  • The PCE-LDC 8 gas leak detector is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor that can accurately detect leaks in the airways. The ultrasonic sensor from the Gas Leak Detector operates at a frequency of 40 kHz. This means that the Gas Leak Detector is calibrated to the average frequency of leaks across the output pressure lines. This is in the range between 20 … 80 kHz.
  • The high-pass filter in the leak detector ensures that all noises are filtered at <40 kHz for better leak detection. A built-in amplification element in the leak detector ensures that the tones are high in frequency.
  • In addition to detecting sound leaks in compressed air lines, the PCE-LDC 8 gas leak detector shows the ultrasonic signal strength on the screen. The sensor from the Gas Leak Detector has a laser pointer to better target pipes or pressure vessels.
