I. Specification of Krebs Stormer PCE-RVI 5 viscometer

PCE-RVI 5 Krebs Viscometer / Viscometer / Stormer Type Viscometer for automatic viscosity measurement or Krebs manual unit (KU).

• Krebs Viscometer or Stormer PCE-RVI 5 Viscometer is used in industrial and research applications to measure Krebs Unit viscosity according to ASTM D562, ASTM D1131 and ASTM D856. Featuring a unique automatic test mode for reliable, repeatable and repeatable test results, this Krebs Stormer viscometer displays measurements in Krebs Units (KU), grams. (g) and turtle centipedes (cP).
• Auto mode:
  • Place the cup on the stand on the base and press start. The Krebs spindle will automatically lower into the correct position. The PCE-RVI 5 Viscometer will run the test fully automatically using the cutting speed to measure the viscosity of the liquid in the cup and the LCD digital display will show the test results. Upon completion of the test, the Krebs spindle will return to the starting position to allow removal of the cup.
• Manual mode:
  • Manual operation is recommended when testing the viscosity of abnormally sized samples.

• The Krebs Stormer PCE-RVI 5 viscometer is used in the testing, development, production and quality control of paints, coatings, lacquers, varnishes, adhesives, pastes and liquid inks, this Krebs viscometer:

  • Provides RS- built-in 232 Interface or communication port to send results to printer
  • Allows for automatic or manual viscosity measurements
  • Provides an adjustable run time of 5 to 99 seconds (when automated)
  • Maintain a constant speed of 200 rpm (rpm).
