PCR manipulation cabinet Esco Airstream ® Series PCR-_A_ is equipped with HEPA-filtered laminar flow, airflow monitoring, UV lamp & prefilter change alarm to provide a sterile environment for reagent and sample preparation during PCR mastermix preparation.

Sentinel™ Silver microprocessor controller:

• Display basic parameters such as airflow on one screen
• The 0.9 m (3') and 1.2 m (4') models are equipped with microprocessor control and soft-touch controls for blower, lighting and UV light..
• Both models have a UV timer function; however, the microprocessor has additional program functions including automatic UV activation when the front shield is lowered, UV countdown on the LCD, total UV run hours and more again.
• Has an alarm to notify users of filter changes.

High efficiency fan system:

• Centrifugal blowers/motors permanently lubricated German ebm-papst® with external rotor design.
• The motor is selected for energy saving, compact and flat design. Fully integrated assembly optimizes engine cooling.
• All rotating parts are balanced for smooth, quiet, vibration-free operation.

Clean air:

• PCR cabinet Esco Airstream ® series PCR-_A_ provides ISO Class 3 air cleanliness in the ISO 14644.1 work area, significantly cleaner than the conventional Class 5 classification.

Proven product protection:

• Vertical airflow with HEPA filtration, >99.99% at 0.3 microns, providing a sterile workspace for PCR sample preparation.

UV decontamination system:

• Each cabinet includes a built-in, powerful, 253.7 nm UV lamp to allow the work area to be decontaminated between test runs, thus preventing cross-contamination..
• The decontamination cycle time can be set using the UV timer, thus extending the UV lamp life.
• UV timer is adjustable up to 18 hours. Default value at 60 minutes.
• The front panel and UV-filtering polycarbonate glass help protect users from accidental UV exposure. A proximity sensor ensures the front shield is lowered before allowing the UV rays to activate.

Isocide ™ antibacterial powder coating:

• Exterior surface is powder coated with Esco Isocide™ to remove 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours of exposure.
