I. Specification of multi-zone ART embryo culture research cabinet Esco
- Esco's ART workstations are designed for applications that involve culturing animal embryos or manipulating human embryos in reproductive laboratories. These applications require a high degree of control over environmental conditions.
- Esco's ART workstation is a combination of renowned air-flow containment and European-designed multi-zone heating allowing for precise temperature control on the work surface.
Multi-zone heating system:
- Four (4) 1-set, 10-zone independent Temperature Modes with individual heating elements and sensors allow for excellent homogeneity.
- The heating system automatically prioritizes power distribution to ensure efficient temperature control with rapid recovery.
- In models with Miri chambers, temperature regulation of the chambers will always be on no matter which mode is in.
Choice of 4 temperature modes:
- 4 temperature modes you can turn all zones on, right zones off, right and middle zones off or all zones off.
Heated glass stage:
- Heated glass stage features a dedicated and uninterruptible power supply to further enhance temperature control and recovery in this area.
Provides built-in microscope:
- Offers integration of most popular stereo and inverted microscopes.
- The built-in stereoscope in the working chamber allows the user to maintain the culture dishes at a constant temperature during observation and manipulation. Less movement will also reduce the risk of accidents.
Humidification system:
- It allows digital control. Pre-mixed gases allow complete control of the environment for samples.
- The air outlet is located on the tabletop and the plastic cover envelops the humidified air creating a small “incubator” that helps keep samples under controlled conditions.
Touch screen:
- The touch screen is a fully functional Windows PC with additional features:
- Displays the temperature of the heated surface, as well as the gas flow and pressure. Reports on these parameters can be generated.
- Observe and record culture behavior in real time through the microscope's camera function.
- Enable remote conference calls with colleagues at other sites for real-time collaboration.
- (Note: Webcam is not provided.)
Clean air:
- Esco cabinets provide ISO Class 3 air cleanliness in the work area according to ISO 14644.1, which is significantly cleaner than the conventional Class 4 classification provided by the competition.
Energy efficiency chart:
- Esco ART workstations use ECM blowers, allowing for low power consumption without affecting cabinet performance. It also has a Standby mode which reduces power consumption while the cabinet is not in use.
IsocideTM powder coat:
- A layer of powder impregnated with silver ions inhibits the growth of microorganisms to improve safety.
Less noise, less vibration:
- The Esco Multi-Zone ART Workstation features state-of-the-art design and features that result in very low noise and vibration levels, making the workstation suitable for small-scale sensitive jobs.
- 2x smaller, high-performance ECM blowers produce less noise and vibration than 1 large blower.
- Passive dampers located along the connection of the table top to the cabinet frame effectively reduce vibrations.
Cable path:
- The Esco Multi-Zone ART Workstation has a convenient way for the power cable of another device and/or accessory (i.e. camera) to pass through its back wall. This provides a cleaner and more organized interior space that will help improve your IVF process.
Optional three-gas mixer:
- Flexible but pre-mixed gas workstations with an additional gas mixer (optional) to accommodate a three-gas system.
Accessory:
- Optionally has built-in MIRI ® compartments to ensure workpiece safety and improve workflow.
- Optional UV lamp to decontaminate work area used with optional polycarbonate front cover for UV shielding.
