Measurement methods:
- VST method: The test specimen is placed in a liquid or heating cabinet. It tests the temperature of a standard needle when pressed 1mm into the sample from a tube or fitting under a force of (50 + 1) N with isokinetic heating.
- HDT method: The test piece is subjected to a three-point bending either vertically or horizontally giving the flexural strength specified in the relevant section GB/T1634. Under the isokinetic constant temperature condition, it measures the temperature when it reaches the standard deflection corresponding to the increased bending strain.
