I. Specification microbiological safety cabinet Labculture ® Class II Type A2 BSC

  • Esco Labculture® Class II Biological Safety Cabinets combine the latest generation of energy-efficient DC ECM motor technology with Esco’s more than 25 years of biosafety cabinet design experience.
  • Labculture ® Class II Type A2 BSC combines multiple design, construction and proprietary considerations to deliver optimum operator efficiency, product and environmental protection.
  • Labculture® is equipped with 2 ULPA (Ultra Low Penetrating Air) filters that operate at a typical efficiency of 99.999%, surpassing conventional HEPA (High Efficiency Air) filters in pollution protection. . Esco Labculture® features a 10 degree inclined front panel for maximum operator comfort. One-piece stainless steel work area and no screws or connectors in the work area facilitate easy cleaning after the test.

Cabinet filter system LA2 and LR2 CLASS II TYPE A2:

  • Ambient air is pulled through the front grille to create an inlet without entering the work surface. The inlet is joined by a downward half, to create a front air curtain that is fine-tuned to create a large performance envelope. The combined airflow passes through the rear air column towards the blower.
  • About ⅓ of the air in the common room is expelled through the ULPA filter into the room. ⅔ remaining air is passed through the downflow ULPA filter and into the work area as vertical laminar flow air to create an ISO Class 3 work surface and prevent cross contamination.
  • Near the work surface, the downflow separates. About half belongs to the front grille and half belongs to the rear grille. A small portion goes into the side snap areas to prevent dead air angles (small blue arrows)
  • Optimized design for great performance, providing operator and product protection at wide Inflow and Downflow variations from Nominal point.

Isocide ™ Antibacterial Powder Coating:

  • Removes 99.9% of bacteria on surfaces within 24 hours of contact.
