The TOP-CHECK coating thickness gauges from List-Magnetik feature a unique 90° pivotable probe that allows you to make accurate coating thickness measurements every time. These compact, lightweight gages are barely larger than a probe, making them ideal for field applications in hard-to-reach areas.
The handy metal housing is IP 64 splash-proof for trouble-free measurements in harsh environments. Optionally, a coating thickness gauge is available that is protected against flowing water. The probe is equipped with a wear-resistant ruby rod for long life during frequent measurements on rough surfaces.

For example, to determine the thickness of a paint coating, when testing vehicles or steel structures, or in fire protection (determining the coating thickness of steel doors). But it's not just a paint thickness gauge; it can also reliably measure rubber coatings, anodized aluminum, and electroplated coatings.
