I. Specification of Esco Streamline ® Class II (SC2) Microbiological Safety Cabinets BSC - Series S
Sentinel™ silver microprocessor control system:
- Display all safety information on one screen
- Centered and tilted down for easy access and viewing
- Selectable Quick Start mode for quick operation
- There are audible and visual alarms.
Filter ULPA:
- 10 times more filtration efficiency than HEPA filter
- 99.999% at 0.1 to 0.3 micron, ULPA according to IEST-RP-CC001.3 USA or >99.999% at MPPS, H14 according to EN 1822 EU.
Cabinet structure:
- Stainless steel side walls with side capture and negative pressure zones for optimized containment
- One-piece work tray, spill-proof and easy to clean.
Ergonomic design:
- The angled front panel improves reach and comfort, reducing glare.
- Frameless, shatterproof shields are easier to clean, providing a larger, unobstructed viewing area.
Isocide ™ antibacterial electrostatic powder coating:
- Removes 99.9% of bacteria on surfaces within 24 hours of contact
II. Advantages Esco Biological Safety Cabinets Streamline ® Class II (SC2) BSC - S
- Permanently lubricated, high performance EBM-PAPST® centrifugal fan/motor/fan with external rotor design. The motor is selected for energy saving, compact and flat design.
- The H14 filter system operates with typical efficiency >99.999% at 0.1 to 0.3 micron
- Ergonomically angled front panel improves reach and comfort, reducing glare. Frameless, shatterproof shields are easier to clean, providing a larger, unobstructed viewing area.
- ISOCIDETM powder coating inhibits microbial growth for enhanced safety.
- The SentinelTM Silver microprocessor-controlled alarm system monitors the operation of all cabinet functions. Monitor both exhaust and downflow.
- Solid cabinet construction with key components, including fluorescent lamps, control systems located away from contaminated air to allow use without decontamination.
- Glass top for increased visibility with maximum visibility / Features stainless steel sidewalls (S-Series). Esco Streamline® Class II has been certified by PHE / Public Health England (formerly HPA) to comply with EN 12469.
