The 125kHz SFT 2400 Schlöder uninterruptible generator with integrated coupling network simulates transient transients (EFTs) as defined in the IEC 61000-4-4 and EN 61000-4-4 standards. Due to the very short rise time of 5ns, the individual pulses produce a wideband RF spectrum up to 300 MHz. This signal generator is easy to operate using a capacitive color touch screen.

Uninterruptible generator 125kHz SFT 2400

  • The 125kHz SFT 2400 EMC surge generator with integrated coupling network simulates transient transients (EFTs) as defined in the IEC 61000-4-4 and EN 61000-4-4 standards. Due to the very short rise time of 5ns, the individual pulses produce a wideband RF spectrum up to 300 MHz.
  • The 125kHz SFT 2400 Continuous Generator is easy to operate using a capacitive color touch screen. All parameters are clearly displayed on the screen without the need for nested menus and can be changed quickly by touch and using the digital rotary encoder. Pre-programmed test levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, additional test sequences can be stored using the memory function.
  • The 125kHz SFT 2400 Continuous Generator also offers many special functions such as “Real Burst”, which simulates the natural shape of an explosive pulse, or “Noise”, which can simulate a contact bounce. The “IFM” and “DFM” (frequency increase or decrease in burst package) functions are important tools for checking resonance or saturation effects in the equipment under test..

Function:

  • All burst parameters can be changed during the burst test. This ensures that the noise threshold of the test equipment can be determined easily and continuously. It is not necessary to interrupt the test to change the parameter on the cluster generator.

Explosion in reality – real explosion:

  • The explosive pulse that occurs in practice does not comply with the definition of the standard. Its physical properties differ from standard definitions. The SFT 2400 transmitter offers the user a range of special functions such as “Real Burst”, which simulates the natural occurrence of an explosive pulse, or “Noise”, which can simulate a contact bounce. The “IFM” and “DFM” (frequency increase or decrease in burst package) functions are important tools for checking resonance or saturation effects in the equipment under test.

Correct activation:

  • To isolate the error, it is possible to pulse very precisely at a particular processing time of the test subject. Explosive pulse triggered with network precision with fluctuations < 25 ns.
