I. Specification Labculture ® Class II type B2 biological safety cabinet (full discharge)
Sentinel™ Gold Microprocessor Control System:

Filter ULPA:
- 10 x filtration efficiency compared to HEPA filter
- Create an ISO Class 3 workspace instead of the industry standard ISO Class 5
- 99.999% at 0.1 to 0.3 micron, ULPA according to IEST-RP-CC001.3 USA or >99.999% at MPPS, H14 according to EN 1822 EU.
- Esco cabinets use ULPA (according to IEST-RP-CC001.3) / H14 filter on EN 1822 instead of HEPA H13 filter used on many
- BSCs on the market.

Labculture ® Class II Type B2 Cabinet Filtration System:
- Ambient air is pulled through the front grille to create an inlet without entering the work surface. The inlet is joined by a downward half, to create a front air curtain that is fine-tuned to create a large performance envelope. The combined airflow passes through the rear air column towards the blower.
- About ⅓ of the air in the common room is expelled through the ULPA filter into the room. ⅔ remaining air is passed through the downflow ULPA filter and into the work area as vertical laminar flow air to create an ISO Class 3 work surface and prevent cross contamination.
- Near the work surface, the downflow separates. About half belongs to the front grille and half belongs to the rear grille. A small portion goes into the side snap areas to prevent dead air angles (small blue arrows)
- Optimized design for great performance, providing operator and product protection at wide Inflow and Downflow variations from Nominal point.
Isocide ™ Antibacterial Powder Coating:
- Removes 99.9% of bacteria on surfaces within 24 hours of contact.

- Covered one-piece work surface containing spillage. The absence of screws or connectors in the work area facilitates easy cleaning and decontamination.
- One-piece back wall with cove corners to ensure thorough cleaning and decontamination
- Power supply filter is angled to match cabinet configuration for best downflow uniformity
- Esco Sentinel TM Gold processor with large blue LCD display all safety parameters simultaneously on a single screen.
- Quick start mode, to turn on/off the blower and lights by moving the window pane to the correct position.
- The RS 232 data output port allows remote monitoring of the cabinet's operating parameters.
- Frameless shields are easier to clean.
- The angled front panel improves reach and comfort.
- The screen tilts down and the panel is ADA compliant.
- The raised grille helps maintain safety by preventing blockages.
