The PCE-RVI 2 V1L Viscometer is a rotary viscometer used in industrial and research applications to measure viscosity according to BS, ISO and ASTM standards.
Featuring a plug-and-play sensor for temperature control to help ensure accurate test results, this digital viscometer is supplied with axes L1, L2, L3 and L4 and displays measurements. measured in millipascal-seconds (mPa.s) or turtle centipedes (cP), depending on the rotational speed and type of spindle used.
Basic operation:
- Turn on the PCE-RVI 2 V1L viscometer by pressing the main switch. When the screen shows the latest saved parameters (spindle and speed), press the up or down buttons to find the applicable pivot and press the enter button to select it. Next, use the up and down buttons to find the rotation speed (rpm) and press the enter button to select it. The "range" parameter informs you of the selected spindle and rpm maximum viscosity value. The "Press Start" message will appear. Make sure your sample is in place before pressing the start button, as the start button starts rotating the spindle and starts measuring.
